U-Need-A Business Plan is Richard Silverman.   I owned my own small business for more than a decade and worked for some of the world’s largest companies for another decade or so. 

 

Eventually, one begins to figure out who he really is and what makes him tick.   I finally decided that I really enjoy working at things that have a beginning and an end.  I also enjoy competition.  The world of small business is just one huge competitive arena to me.  The costs to join the game are a little bit of money, creativity, hard work, and some luck never hurts.  You can play over and over until you earn the rewards you seek.  

 

There are rules, however, to this competition.  Few who flaunt the rules succeed.   Sure, a few succeed, but they are few and far between.  For the rest of us, the path to success is to maximize opportunities at every stage of the business process. 

 

It starts with an idea.  The business plan is the next step.  This is where ideas get set down on paper, loose ends begin to get identified and tied down.   This is also where bad ideas are killed before they can do too much damage.  When the time comes to find someone to review or write your plan, selecting someone who has been there, done that, and is willing to spend some time helping you to understand potential problem areas can be well worth whatever the cost.
